In order to allow user to update his stats from his/her cpanel, You will have to do one change as follows,
vi /home/user/tmp/awstats/awstats.domainname.com.conf
–> Replace domainname.com with actual domainname
And find the option called “AllowToUpdateStatsFromBrowser” in the file and change it to 1.
Then client can update his/her stats from his cpanel > Web/Ftp Stats > Awstats and they will get icon as “Update Now” there.
