Anchor Text
Anchor text refers to the text that composes a link to another web page or resource. In the HTML link example that follows,
Here’s an example, WebHosting UK, in which “WebHosting UK” is the anchor text.
Back Link
Backlinks are the incoming links to a website or web page. Also called inbound links or IBLs.
Cloaking
Cloaking is a system of delivering custom content to a spider but hiding the code and / or content from a user. Cloaking can be a dangerous method of getting listed in the search engines and may not be recommended.
CPC
CPC or Cost per Click advertising means you will pay a certain price every time your banner ad is clicked by a user, regardless of how many times it is displayed.
CPM
CPM means Cost Per Thousand impressions. It is the price paid by an advertiser for a web site displaying their banner ad a thousand times.
Indexing
The process by which a Search Engine spider visits your web page and collects information about it.
Keyword / Keyphrase
A word or phrase that you type in when you are searching for information in the search engines. Also called ‘search terms’.
Keyword density
Keyword density calculates the percentage of keyword words and phrases compared to the total of words in your web page body.
Keyword Stuffing
Keyword stuffing is considered to be a unethical Search engine optimization (SEO) technique. It is the needless repetition of a keyword or keyword phrase in order to get higher ranking on search engines and this keyword or keyphrase may or may not be visible to human visitors.
Link Farm
A set of web pages that have been built for the sole purpose of increasing the number of incoming links to a web site. This is done in order to increase link popularity and search engine rankings. These types of pages are penalized by almost all search engines.
Meta tag
A meta tag is an element of HTML that often describes the contents of a Web page, and is placed near the beginning of the page’s source code. Search engines use information provided in a meta tags to index pages by subject.
Reciprocal link
A Link on one website that connects to another website containing a link back to the original site. This is a proven way to build link popularity which is now an important component of achieving high search engine rankings.
PR
PageRank (PR) is a numerical value which represents the popularity of a website. This is status given to websites by google.com
Search Engine Spam
In the search engine world, spam is defined as the manipulation of a web page to give it an artificial boost in the search engine rankings.
Title Tag
The tag that defines the title of the web page. It is probably the most important page element that influences the ranking of a page.

A few more to add to the list
SERPs - Search Engine Results Pages, pages returned with results when you search.
Organic Listings - Organic listings are the non-paid search results lists seen in search engines, as opposed to paid or sponsored listings.
Robots.txt - Robots.txt is a text file placed in a websites root directory and linked in the html code. It allows for SEO’s to control the actions of search engine spiders on the site or even deny them access.

I also want to add few more terms
IBL - Abbreviation for In Bound Link. Any link on another page that points to the subject page. Also called a back link.
SEO - Search Engine Optimization. The art of making your website relevant and important so that it ranks high in the search results for a particular word.
Webmaster - A person responsible for the management of a particular website.
Dead Link - A link to a URL that no longer exists.

Great information for beginner like me needs to know all these terms before start SEO and beware from link Farms. Good information James!
