I think the main reason to switch hosting company is the lack of proper support and reliable services. So, when you opt for a new hosting company don’t forget to test their support, services and uptime.

Make sure all transfer must be handled professionally, especially when dealing with database powered websites, if it has been handled improperly it can cause data loss during the switch over.
